I am using a DellXPS933 with a USB Dock and an AOC 2036 display. After installing Windows 10, the screen on the AOC display is shifted to the right, so about 1.5' are off the screen to the right, with a black band on the left side of the display. (This is case in extended or duplicated or only display on 2)
I have updated the drivers for the Intel HD graphics card, the AOC monitor and the USB Dock. I also uninstalled and reinstalled a displaylink driver.
In the settings, laptop display advanced settings allow a 1920x1080 resolution, but the advanced setting for the AOC display (Display 2) will only go to 1600 x 900. There isn't an option for 1920x1080 and there is no way for me to change it to 1920 x 1080.
Any assistance appreciated.

It was the first time they had introduced new colors in over a decade. I was so excited to start using them, I had to begin stitching right away. The beautiful purples and greens and corals in the collection made me think of pansies, and the result is this pretty floral pattern. It's stitched on black so the colors really pop.If you have never stitched on black fabric before, this is a great starter project. Black fabric can be more challenging to stitch on than light-colored fabric, so be sure to check out our. Here's how to make your own pansy pattern.Materials. C# cross thread. I have a very similar issue. I am using an HP pavilion laptop with a DisplayLink USB 2.0 adaptor. Uploaded the latest Displaylink drivers. If I use the 'recommended' resolution setting in Windows settings (1920 x 1080), the display is in proper proportion, is OK top to bottom, but is too wide and is off to the left -- cannot see the start button and others in the taskbar. Using the display's built in controls to 'autoset', it tells me that 1920 x 1200 is recommended, but it does not 'stretch' the view to fit. However 1920 x 1200 is not an option in the Windows settings window. I can move the display horizontally using the display controls, but it is still too wide. The only thing that works is to select a resolution of 1600 x 1200 -- then everything is present, but all shapes are distorted wide -- circles appear as horizontal ovals. Under Windows 8 I had the 1900 x 1200 option and this worked perfectly. Thanks for any suggestions.
